Our TY Geography classes climbed Galtymór on 1st of October 2015. We started at Clydagh Bridge in the Glen of Aherlow on the north side of the Galtees and heade up the old ice road to Lough Curra. From there we climbed the gully on the cirque wall and continued to the top of Galtymór.
Although the weather was misty to begin with, it cleared as we climbed and ended up being warm, sunny and clear. Tired bodies arrive back to the bus by about 3.3o after a 5 hour trek.
Thanks to Mr. Mc Donnell, Mr. Donovan & Mr. Buckley for organising the trip. Kudos to Jerry Twomey O Leary for the tunes!
